TALMA Chevron Collaboration

Helping future engineers and technicians apply English in practical, career-focused contexts

Following their successful launch in the 2023-2024 Academic Year, TALMA’s CEFR-aligned courses have continued to thrive at our three partner institutions: Ruppin College, Ort Jerusalem Technological College, and Beersheba Technological College. The ongoing collaboration with these academic partners has strengthened over time, ensuring that course materials maintain strict CEFR alignment while incorporating relevant vocabulary and subject matter. The program continues to prioritize creating curricula that directly connect to students’ fields of study, enhancing the overall learning experience and practical application of skills.

The 6 courses initiated last year continue to serve students across the three participating colleges. At Ruppin College, the two specialized courses for electricity and mechatronics students are progressing, while at Beersheba Technological College, the 2 dedicated courses for software engineering students maintain their momentum. Similarly, Ort Technological College Jerusalem’s two courses for students in electricity and construction engineering continue to develop their professional English skills.
