A while ago, TALMA alumni spanning four countries, three continents, and countless time zones gathered together on Zoom to reconnect, share stories, and exchange ideas.
During our call, we brainstormed new ways for alumni to stay connected and continue supporting one another long after their TALMA experience. With alumni coming from such diverse educational and professional backgrounds, it became clear that our network is an incredible resource, one that we want to continue growing and strengthening together.
That’s why we are excited to launch the new TALMA Alumni Padlet, a collaborative platform where alumni can share ideas, educational resources, opportunities, and stay connected with the broader TALMA community.
We also discussed the importance of alumni leadership within local communities around the world. As TALMA continues to grow, we hope to establish more alumni circles globally, creating meaningful spaces for connection, collaboration, and impact. Alumni leaders in hubs across the world will help strengthen our community and create opportunities for alumni to engage with one another in meaningful ways.
Meet Jenna, TALMA’s Alumni Engagement Coordinator
Jenna joined TALMA’s Alumni Team after participating in the TALMA Summer Fellowship in both 2023 and 2024 in Ashkelon and Jerusalem. Originally from New York City, she is now preparing to move to Jerusalem for graduate school after spending the last two years living in Manhattan.
Before joining TALMA professionally, Jenna worked as a professional actor across the United States after earning her BFA in Musical Theatre. Through her fellowship experiences, she developed a deep connection to TALMA’s mission and community, inspiring her to continue supporting alumni long after their programs ended.
Since joining the team last fall, Jenna has loved connecting with TALMA alumni around the world and is excited to continue growing the global alumni network.
We are incredibly excited to continue rolling out these new alumni initiatives, especially our expanding virtual experiences. The TALMA community is truly something special, and we are proud to help cultivate a network that remains vibrant, supportive, and connected across the globe.
